Boat Fev-ah!

Yesterday my hubs and I took the kids and my mom to Don Pedro, a lake that is about an hour away, to meet up with my aunt and uncle and cousin and her boyfriend for a day of fun in the sun. And guess what? I swam! In water that was deeper than me! And I only panicked once and even then it was just because I was floating like a seal and started thinking how tasty my arms and legs would look to a creature of the deep. But oh the water felt good, and the kids and I collected clams and got stuck in mud, and smeared the mud all over ourselves, and flung the mud at each other and splashed and made general merriment. Good times. Jason went out tubing and waterskiing and managed not to die, and we both decided we are destined to own a boat sometime in the future. And that it must be named “Omega Persion 8?. How fun would that be? Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures because I was busy holding onto my margarita glass.
