Chances

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

I got some terribly shocking, sad news today.
If there is one thing I wish people would realize, its that life is full of chances. Whether you are 18 or 89 tomorrow is always an opportunity to change the path your life is on.

Do You Ever Have Days…

… Where you wonder why your hair never looks good?
… Where you feel like time is passing you by and you have very little to show for it?
… When you feel like if the kid version of yourself met the adult version, they would be pretty disappointed?

If you have a sewing machine and a tree hugging inclination, I urge you to check out Goods for Girls, an organization that sends homemade cloth menstrual pads to girls in Africa who do not have access to menstrual supplies. Magellan Is My CoPilot

A few weeks ago, on our anniversary weekend getaway, Jason and I found ourselves lost. Again.
We are notorious for getting lost, ending up 50 miles from where we are supposed to be somehow. Don’t get me wrong, we’ve found some pretty neat off-the-beaten-path type places that way, but we also lose a lot of time. [...]

Addiction, Thy Name is Television

Remember these bumper stickers? When I was younger and far less secure in myself, I would dread meeting some interesting new person and seeing one of these babies on their car. We might have shared the same taste in clothing, lifestyle choices and freewheeling philosophical concepts, but my own insecurity would leave me awash [...]
