… Where you wonder why your hair never looks good?

… Where you feel like time is passing you by and you have very little to show for it?

… When you feel like if the kid version of yourself met the adult version, they would be pretty disappointed?

… When you feel more useless than a fish with legs?

… When you wonder why you still, at 28, feel like an insecure 16 year old half the time?

Ok, I’ve been really sick, works been slow, I’ve been bored and bummed and antsy. So I’m sure that has the most to do with it. But damn. Sometimes I just want to slap myself.

A few days ago my tooth started hurting. Bad. And yesterday I woke up to my entire face being on fire. It was awful. It felt like a toothache, and I’ve had my share of toothaches, so I went to the dentist with the express request that they pull the damn thing out. They took x rays and told me it wasn’t my teeth. Turns out I have a raging sinus infection. So, I felt pretty dumb. But it turned out to be a good thing, since they gave me antibiotics and after two doses, the pain flew away.

My agenda for the next few days is to FEEL BETTER. Even if that means sleeping for 12 hrs.
