I’ve been a very busy bee lately. And look! I’ve been working on a redesign for Ebb N Flow! I think it looks puuuurty.

In other news, I’ve been working on what I like to call “the quilt of no hope” although, really, it will be lovely when its done. Its just going to be a REALLY BIG PROJECT. Why? Because I want it to completely envelop my couch… all 143 inches by 106 inches of it. I’m doing various shades and patterns of blues, greens and browns since its the “Earth” area of my house. “Because even the company, must complement the Feng Shui.” Thank you, Gnarls Barkley. My sentiments exactly.

One thing I haven’t been doing? Cleaning. Sometimes, I find myself almost maniacally keeping my house tidy. Other times, the cyclones of destructiveness that are my children (inherited from their mother) leave me with a “whats the point?” attitude. And thats where I’m stuck right now. I’ve discovered that wearing sunglasses inside allows me to ignore most of it.

And I cut my hair!  I was outside last weekend, grubbing as usual, and I felt something itchy on my scalp. I ignored it, cause I’m tough like that. However , when I went to take a shower later a spider fell out of my snarly locks. Honestly, it was probably in there for awhile. It may have built a house, raised children, who knows? I decided a shorter, more manageable cut was in order for the summer.
