Break Out the Shears

Thursday, May 29th, 2008

I am so sick of my hair. Of trying to find the right product to make it less frizzy, less huge, less lioness mane like. Of fucking it up with hair dye. Of putting it in curlers just to have it turn out poofier than ever.
By the way, when I was visiting Georgia last year [...]

Several words come to mind when I think of this show. In no particular order:
Vapid
Soulless
Pathetic
Disgusting
Depressing
Hideous
Just so ya know. *GAG*

Goodbye

My little Serama is dying. She’s never been quite right since the whole butt-falling-out-prolapse issue and over the past few days she’s just gotten worse. I’ve had her on antibiotics for a while, to no avail. I can feel a mass on her left side and its not an egg. I think I’ve done everything [...]

Getting to Know MEME

Friday, May 23rd, 2008

1. What time did you get up this morning?   7:30 to make breakfast but I woke up with a headache so I went back to sleep until 8:45. Bless you PBS.
2. Diamonds or pearls? Polished rocks.
3. Last movie you saw at the cinema? Forgetting Sara Marshall. Not great, but not terrible either.

Clear the Air

Friends, I want to talk about gas.
Listen here. Farting is not shameful. It can be gross and it can be smelly and in the case of my 98 year old great grandmother and certain baby panda bears it can be pretty stinking cute. But lets get something straight… unless you’ve had your asshole sewn up [...]

Klutzoid

Last night I was putting some bean seedlings in the garden when Ivy let the chickens out. Of course, they headed straight for the baby beans and I had to take action. Fast. Bantams, besides being adorable, are incredibly quick to destroy any vegetation they deem tasty.  I took off across the yard at a [...]

Peace Roses, a mother’s day gift from mom a couple years ago… they get more beautiful every year!

My gnome.

We uncovered the stinky old eggs while digging up the new garden. These were from my first set of hens, Cinnamon & Pepper.

My Calla Lillie’s love their new spot!

… It’s a Plane!!
Yesterday we took a trip to the Castle Air Museum. While Ivy and I were less than thrilled to be roasting on hot tarmac at 3:00 in the afternoon, the men in the family were in heaven!

Just the right size!

Ivy liked the “scary kitty plane”.

Exploring.

Ozzie’s favorite.

Old school drone.

Top Gun.

All of us!
