What’s So Great About Being Lazy?
If you’ve ever neglected to hem something because you thought it looked fine or decided not to iron out your fabric before cutting into it… you might just be a lazy seamstress. Or impatient. It goes hand in hand sometimes.
I freely admit that I am no perfectionist. I love Project Runway, but at the end of the day ITS JUST CLOTHING.
Lazy Seamstress’s don’t take it too seriously. We raid the dollar fabric bin with gusto. We are not afraid to try something new and we are not afraid to fuck it up. We come from the school of hard knocks. We actually enjoy the process of living and don’t bother so much with the details sometimes. We don’t worry about fussy, couture techniques. Or maybe we do, but we put our own labor saving spin on it. Most of all, we celebrate the flawed. It’s what differentiates us from the cookie cutter Stepford folk.
